Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Tucson, Arizona 85745 (Arizona nursing jobs)

Unit : Telemetry (32 beds, 1 : 5 nurse-patient ratio)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : December 15, 2025 – End : March 17, 2026)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1650 – $1770

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Scrub Color : Navy blue

Telemetry RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry or acute care nursing experience

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float to Medical-Surgical / Observation units as needed

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical conditions (CHF, Afib with RVR, hypoxia / SOB, fluid overload, arrhythmias, hypertension, stable airway / tracheostomy)

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; titrate vasoactive drips (Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone)

Operate and manage clinical equipment (IV pumps, wound vacs, chest tubes, PCA, epidural devices)

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and therapeutic interventions (intermittent BiPAP / CPAP, post-procedure care, paracentesis / thoracentesis)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Float to Medical-Surgical / Observation and other nursing units as needed
