A Flight Paramedic is responsible for providing high-quality critical care including assessment, triage, and treatment while transporting patients under stressful situations. Working with the Flight Nurse, this position requires the ability to administer medicine and provide advanced life support in a helicopter's confined and noisy space. This role requires a combination of advanced clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments. Position Details :
Minimum Requirements :
Licensure : Current paramedic license in state of operation :
MO EMS-P (Missouri Emergency Medical Services-Paramedic)
AR EMT-P (Arkansas Emergency Medical Services-Paramedic)
Experience : Three years ER or Critical Care experience.
Certifications : Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Other Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :
Must be able to use a Cardiac Monitor, Non-Invasive and invasive BP Monitor, Mechanical Ventilator, C02 monitor, IABP, Impella, Intubation, Infusion Pump, and computer.
Preferred Requirements :
Preferred Experience : Previous flight paramedic experience preferred.
