The Plant Manager is in charge of directing, leading and controlling the services under their responsibility in order to satisfy the customers in terms of safety, quality, deadlines, cost and service.
About the Role
The Plant Manager must implement the actions necessary to respect the budgets. Responsible for the plant's P&L in accordance with the directives of the General Management and / or the Finance Department.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation of the budget and implement it in accordance with the group's procedures.
- Implement the Quality, Safety and Environment Policy in harmony with the various IATF / ISO standards on the basis of the guidelines defined at the group level and specified by the Quality and HSE Department.
- Guarantor of the achievement of the QCD objectives (Quality Costs Deadlines).
- Lead the review of the site's Quality, Safety and Environment Department, ensure that the Quality, Safety and Environment (QSMS) management system achieves the expected results and report on the performance of the QSMS and opportunities for improvement to the Management.
- Promote the process, risk-based approach and customer orientation.
- Trigger the Red Alert process in the event of a potential or proven major risk for the customer (inability to produce, delivery disruption, special status, etc.), on the P&L or in the event of a major HSE incident.
- Maintain the customer security plan and enforce it.
- Ensure the proper application of QSE group procedures and specific customer requirements.
- Implement the policy necessary for the motivation of staff and their development by ensuring the communication of roles and responsibilities within the plant.
- Define, implement and control the productivity actions necessary for safety, environment, quality and competitiveness objectives.
- Propose the necessary investments, and implement them after validation by the Management.
- Ensure responsibility for the order and cleanliness of the premises, means of production, surroundings and buildings.
Qualifications
Must have at least 5 years of Plant Management or Operations Management experience. Experience in automotive or plastic injection molding would be a plus.
