About the position

The Sales Development Intern identifies and qualifies new leads to generate potential sales opportunities.

Applicants must be permanently authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Working with their manager or a Sales Development Representative to complete assigned tasks.
  • Attending meetings and events to observe and learn.
  • Updating sales records and documents accurately.
  • Observing how to source sales opportunities leveraging tools and education provided.
  • Communicating with vendors and clients at the manager's request.
  • Conducting research and collating data.
  • Assessing whether sales targets are met.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Taking notes on what they learn while on the job.

Skills and Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or bachelor's degree in progress.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct research and identify potential leads.
  • Ability to navigate fast-paced environments with strong time management skills.
  • Capability to handle initial sales inquiries and follow up on leads.
  • Adaptability to learn new sales techniques and tools.
  • Compensation

    Salary will be commensurate with experience.
