Radiology Tech Location : 4801 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Lafayette, LA 70508 SnapCare seeks a dedicated and skilled Radiology Tech to join our healthcare team. As a Rad Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our patients in an acute care setting. Qualifications : Current license in the state of practice is required. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required. 12 months of relevant work experience Responsibilities : Perform diagnostic imaging examinations (e.g., X-rays, MRI, CT scans) as ordered by physicians. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adjusting settings as needed for optimal image quality. Follow radiation safety procedures and protocols to protect patients and staff. Accurately position patients to capture detailed, high-quality images. Maintain detailed patient records and update information in hospital databases. Educate patients about the imaging process and address any concerns or questions.
