Job Overview

The Post Funding Manager will be responsible for a team who manages various functions directly related to government loans (FHA, VA, USDA). Individual must be skilled in the insuring / guarantee process, ability to resolve insuring / guarantee escalations, strong communication skills, and manage a pipeline of loans. In addition, manager will oversee post closing exceptions related to GNMA reporting.

A Typical Day

The Post Funding Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing correspondent lending's post-closing activities. As the Manager, your duties will include the following key areas : government insuring monitoring, post funding activities related to government loans, GNMA post funding activities, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting. The Post Funding Manager will :

• Manage processes and operational activities for post-closing
• Operate risk management controls to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Collaborate with technology partners to support evaluation, implementation and ongoing maintenance of operation systems
• Work directly with the servicing department to ensure that adjustments on PCG loans are properly executed
• Monitor weekly and monthly service-level agreement (SLA) performance for all post-closing functions
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Bus Administration, Finance or related field preferred, or equivalent direct industry experience. 5+ years of mortgage industry experience, preferably managing correspondent funding activities. Thorough understanding of all aspects of correspondent transactions, knowledge of mortgage industry and operational practices, and understanding of applicable federal, state and local lending regulations. Thorough understanding of all aspects of FHA Connection, VA WebLGY, VA FFPS, VA VALERI, USDA LINC, and GinnieMae portal. Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word; SQL knowledge a plus.

Compensation : Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below : Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role. Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role. Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role. Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and / or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
