About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years required; must have 1 prior travel assignment

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : BLS, ARRT or ARDMS, Cardiac Interventional (CI), CVT preferred : ACLS, ARRT Advanced

Must-Have :

• C-Arm Experience
• Contrast Administration
• Biopsy Procedures
• Interventional Radiology, Angiography, and Special Procedure Experience

Description :

The Interventional Radiology team offers a full range of vascular, nonvascular, and neurological image-guided procedures.

Technologists will assist in breaking up clots inside arteries and blocking off blood vessels that feed tumors.

They will treat varicose veins and deliver cancer treatment directly to tumors via their blood supply.

Duties include draining blocked organs and performing biopsies through small incisions under image guidance.

Technologists will work with advanced techniques, equipment, and participate in cutting-edge clinical trials.

The goal is to maximize patient safety and develop the next generation of treatments.

The position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule for weekends, with additional call during the week as needed.

Scrubs will be provided for this role.
