  • 1 Work Schedule :   8 am – 5 pm Work Day :    Monday  –  Friday Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a versatile and driven Business Intelligence Analyst & Developer (BIA) to play a pivotal role in supporting a key client engagement.
  • This individual will be instrumental in enhancing strategic planning and execution through the development of sophisticated data tools, insightful analysis, and process automation.
  • The ideal candidate is a hybrid professional with a unique blend of technical programming skills and business intelligence acumen, particularly expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful dashboards and reports primarily using Microsoft Power BI to support strategic planning, execution, and evaluation.  Identify opportunities for and implement Power Automate flows to streamline and automate manual business processes, increasing operational efficiency.
  • Build custom low-code business applications using Power Apps to solve specific operational challenges and data collection needs.
  • Support the entire data lifecycle, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible for analysis.  Provide hands-on support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of data collection, analysis, and visualization tools.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and perform advanced data analysis to uncover trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Proactively recommend and implement improvements to data collection methods, analytical models, and reporting capabilities to enhance quality and breadth of insights.
  • Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs, present findings, and empower users with self-service analytics tools.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven professional experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or developer role.
  • Advanced, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft’s Power Platform suite :

  • Expertise in data modeling, DAX, creating complex reports, and data visualization.
  • Experience building flows for process automation.
  • Experience building canvas and / or model-driven apps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Solid understanding of data management principles, including ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-300 : Power BI Data Analyst, PL-400 : Power Platform Developer).
  • Experience supporting strategic planning or performance management functions.
  • Knowledge of other programming / scripting languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) or data integration services (Azure Data Factory, SSIS).
  • Experience working in a government or management consulting environment.
