Branch Manager (Industrial Services)
Summary / objective
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Branch Manager to lead operations at an industrial services branch in Memphis, TN . This leadership role has full accountability for branch performance, including operations, financials, customer satisfaction, and employee development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or industrial operations , with experience in compressed air systems strongly preferred. The Branch Manager will be responsible for executing company objectives, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence.
Essential functions
Branch Operations & Oversight
- Oversee daily branch activities related to operations, sales, service, and administration.
- Ensure compliance with company operational standards, safety procedures, and policies.
- Maintain branch facilities, inventory, vehicles, and capital equipment.
Financial Management
Develop and manage branch budgets, P&L statements, and financial goals.Monitor KPIs such as gross margins, operating expenses, sales revenue, and accounts receivable.Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to enhance profitability.Sales & Business Development
Drive business growth through customer acquisition, retention, and cross-selling strategies.Build and expand relationships with clients in industrial and manufacturing sectors.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote company products and services, including compressed air solutions.Customer Experience & Issue Resolution
Serve as the escalation point for high-level customer issues.Monitor customer feedback and lead continuous improvement efforts in service delivery.Represent the company professionally in the local market and build strong community relationships.Team Leadership & Development
Hire, supervise, mentor, and evaluate branch staff to meet performance expectations.Foster a team-oriented, performance-driven culture aligned with company values.Provide coaching and development opportunities to support employee growth.Strategic Planning & Execution
Support company vision through local execution of business plans and initiatives.Provide input on market conditions, competition, and customer needs.Recommend enhancements to products, processes, or services to improve efficiency and profitability.Supervisory responsibilities
Directly supervises all branch personnel, including sales, service, operations, and administrative staff.Responsible for recruiting, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and professional development.Ensures proper staffing to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Promotes a positive work environment that supports employee engagement and retention.
