We are seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and programming electrical systems for custom automated machinery across a variety of industries, including Medical / Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Automotive, and Industrial. This role requires expertise in PLC programming , motion control, and systems integration, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Duties :

Perform electrical hardware and software design for custom automated machinery.

Develop ladder logic programming and HMI interfaces.

Design and implement multi-axis motion control systems.

Specify and correctly apply various robotic platforms.

Integrate machine vision systems and automation equipment.

Lead systems integration and equipment debug activities.

Prepare clear and concise technical documentation and reports.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful project delivery.

Contribute to project management efforts and provide technical guidance.

Job Qualifications :

B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent training / experience), required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation controls engineering.

Proficiency in PLC programming , with expertise in Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, required.

Knowledge of NEC, NFPA79, and UL 508A, required.

Electrical drafting experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical, required.

Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with robot integration; familiarity with ANSI / RIA R15.06 standards, preferred.

Experience with machine vision systems and multi-axis motion control, preferred.
