REPORTS TO : Chief Engineer / AGM / General Manager / Principles

FLSA : Non-exempt

Position Summary

This position will be part of a team that is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the hotel building facility. Duties include preventive maintenance of equipment, complete operating logs on equipment, operation of mechanical systems such as Chillers, Pumps, Air Handlers, etc.

Job Summary

• Ensure that the hotel equipment is functioning properly.
• Diagnose operating issues.
• Communicate any operating concerns to chief engineer.
• Run periodic tests on hotel operating equipment.
• Document testing logs as required.
• Work in team setting.

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel is minimal with most contact with customers by phone and email correspondence.
