• Other details : The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 30-50 patients per shift. An urgent care opportunity is available for Board Certified or Eligible physicians (within five years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med / Peds to join a modern urgent care setting with onsite lab, mobile X-ray, and EKGs, supported by medical assistants and radiology techs. Candidates must be residency trained and ABMS or AOB certified, able to see patients of all ages, and provide proof of at least 50 patient encounters in the past 12 months relevant to requested privileges. Current BLS certification is required, with ACLS and PALS preferred. Physicians should be comfortable performing urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, and drawing blood, and must be able to work independently without nurse support. Experience with Epic EMR is preferred. Scheduling consists of 12-hour shifts with no overtime, with preference given to providers available for weekends and holidays, and shifts may be booked in advance.
