SAP Platform Admin Lead

Job description Infosys is seeking a SAP Basis or Platform Admin Lead.The Infosys Data and Analytics unit is dedicated to helping clients adopt an approach to ubiquitously create value from data. We move them away from the conventional use case or point solution-led approach, towards the path to building industrialized capabilities to monetize data. We begin by creating an integrated blueprint of opportunities – unique to their business – for data-led value creation. Thereon we chart the roadmap to incrementally build the capabilities they need to deliver on the blueprint. This involves Modernizing the core to prepare for the digital transformation, building intelligent systems that interpret data cognitively to discover new signals and connect the unconnected and Leveraging Artificial Intelligence to nurture a learnable and adaptable enterprise that evolves at digital speed.Required Qualifications : Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Melbourne, FL / Rochester, NY / Clifton, NJ, Greenville, TX, Salt Lake City, UT / Richardson, TX / Raleigh, NC / Indianapolis, IN / Hartford, CT / Tempe, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience.In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.SAP Administration Expertise : Extensive hands-on experience as a Platform Administrator for SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects, and SAP Data Services.Deep knowledge of the architecture, components, and underlying database technologies (e.g., HANA, Oracle) for each platform.Proven experience with SAP system upgrades, patching (Support Packs), and transports.Expertise in SAP user and security administration, including roles and authorizations.Technical & Troubleshooting Skills : Strong proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and shell scripting.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex platform-level issues.Familiarity with network concepts, storage, and virtualization technologies.Preferred Qualifications : Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience working in a regulated environment, particularly for US defense or government clients.Experience with SAP Solution Manager is a plus.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
