job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProficient in Revit Design HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems that meet specific project requirements Developing and analyzing energy models to optimize energy efficiency in buildings Creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical systems, including plumbing, fire protection, and other related systems Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure that mechanical systems integrate seamlessly with the overall building design Overseeing the construction and installation of mechanical systems, including commissioning and testing of equipment Conducting site visits to assess existing mechanical systems and recommend improvements or upgrades Staying up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments to ensure that design and installation practices are state-of-the-art Ensuring that all work is completed in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
Mechanical Engineer Opportunity
We have a client located in the Pittsburgh, PA area that has an immediate need for a Mechanical Engineer.
Required :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in the design and coordination of mechanical systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD, other design software
- Must be detail oriented and quality driven
- Must have strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and mechanical construction documents
