Job details Spherion is currently interviewing for a Revit Design Drafter for a successful local general contractor.

The purpose of this role is to create drawings for the production of construction products including layouts, elevations, sections and field connections for structural and architectural projects using Revit. Drafters work on teams with engineers, sales, and project managers to manage projects, resolve design issues, and answer questions for customers and contractors. ...

Salary $65-75k / year DOE

Responsibilities :

Understand the process of project layout, submittal, and piece tickets from sale to job site
Understand Companies standards for drawing-line types, scales, title blocks, job numbering system, and product finish marks
Demonstrate strong attention to detail to create drawings in Revit in accordance to engineer instructions
Look for, identify, and address problems not detailed in A / E plans
Alert engineering to non-typical situations and interference. Address onsite issues with the job site and resolve problems / retrieve information from subcontractors for fixes or repairs

Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Education : High School

Experience : 1-4 years

Qualifications :

1+ years of experience using Revit

Ability to meet scheduled deadlines

Must be able to work both independently and as a team player to complete tasks according to production schedules

Demonstrate reliability through excellent attendance and on-time completion of assignments
