A bit about us :
We are looking for an experienced Controller that will plan and direct the accounting operations of the Company, including but not limited to timely and accurate financial reporting, maintenance of accounting records, and monitoring of internal controls to mitigate financial risk. This role also includes leading budgeting and forecasting efforts and managing key accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Treasury.

Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Controller, your primary duties will include :
1. Overseeing all accounting operations, including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
4. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
5. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
6. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
7. Liaising with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
8. Evaluating and managing risk, analyzing complex financial data, and extract and define relevant information.
9. Directing the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
10. Overseeing the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller role will have :
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including Month End Close.
4. Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
5. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
6. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
7. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
