Description

We are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support our Salt Lake City office. Candidates must have an ABA-approved paralegal certification and extensive experience working in commercial real estate law in a law firm environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing contracts, including lease or rental agreements and closing documents; obtaining, preparing and / or filing various documents, certificates, statements, amendments, and forms; forming limited liability companies and other entities; performing UCC and other searches; preparing and tracking closing checklists and transactional documentation from letter of intent through completion of closing binders; participating in and attending closings; obtaining Registry of Deeds documentation; assisting with various lease documents; reviewing due diligence materials; obtaining documents from various governmental agencies; facilitating communication between the lawyers for buyer and seller; negotiating contracts; reviewing title reports; monitoring financial transactions and foreclosures; and preparing legal descriptions of land.

This position requires a professional, organized self-starter with the ability to interact with staff and clients at all levels in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment.A proactive work ethic, the ability to anticipate needs, strong decision making skills, attention to detail, and a flexible schedule are a must.
