Compensation : $48 - $58 per hour, depending upon experience

Job Tasks
Configure & test integration with mobile devices / phones and vehicle OEM's test benches / vehiclesTest & troubleshoot interoperability issues, including NFC, BLE, UWB and application-level flows related to product(s).Reproduce partner issues on partner benches / vehicles, customer reference hardware (including mobile devices / phones), and / or other OEM devices.Perform full-regression and product / feature-specific testing on partner benches, hardware (including mobile devices), and / or OEM vehicles.Write bug / test reports, perform a preliminary analysis and regularly report the progress; for debugging and diagnosis by software engineers.Update hardware, including mobile test devices with latest software per instructions / detailed documentation; via detailed documentation, and evaluation of test cases both personally performed and performed by other internal team membersDevelop an automated test framework / toolchain based on tools and applicationsTest Driving : driving permit for passenger vehicles in locale, execution of drive tests as provided by the customer via detailed documentation. Proof of driving skills to operate infotainment testsStationary test : execution of test cases for head units on benches or standing vehicles, reproduction of bugs on lab benches and vehiclesBased on field experiences, generate and maintain reference documentation such as test and validation plans, user guides for partner hardware and applications, manuals to update the product device and firmware. Author scripts to make such tasks repeatable.Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experienceNative level fluency in English for reading, writing, and speakingBusiness level fluency in English for communicationRelevant work experience, including development and / or test automation experience.Experience in test-driven development, debugging, building tools and testing frameworks.Legally permitted [e.g. valid driver's license] to drive in Europe, North America, and applicable countries in Asia.Ability to efficiently [i.e. drive] travel approximately 50% to visit partner sites is preferred.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with creating and executing shell scripts to automateExperience with macOS / LinuxExperience with shell, terminalExperience with bug tracker tools like Buganizer, Jira, equivalentExperience with bug reporting, documentationExperience with test case execution and documentationExperience with test case management toolsISTQB Certified Automotive Tester and / or Mobile Application Testing
