About the Role

As an Information Security Engineer on a contingent assignment, you’ll play a key role in supporting and executing security engineering initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and implement security solutions that protect infrastructure and data. This role requires a strong understanding of security engineering principles, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the planning and execution of moderately complex security engineering projects.
• Analyze and resolve technical challenges related to information security, evaluating multiple variables and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Support implementation of hardware and software solutions, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination with engineering teams.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams on topics such as network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Adapt to varying project schedules, including occasional off-hours work to support implementation timelines.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and follow through on action items in a fast-paced environment.
