Mechanical Designer IV
The Mechanical Designer IV will design mechanical systems, components, or assemblies using engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with project managers to create unique high-level concepts and designs for all assigned projects.
- Works closely with the creative team to ensure the successful execution of goals of all assigned projects.
- Influences stylistic direction for projects.
- Delivers concepts and designs according to strict project deadlines.
- Contributes to all areas of the creative process and department.
- Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
- Handles the most complex issues.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and / or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Associate's degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management6+ years of experienceHighly proficient in AutoCAD and REVITEffective verbal and written communications skillsVision and CreativityAbility to meet deadlinesLeadership skillsPlanning skillsPossesses expert knowledge of the subject matterDetail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environmentExcellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessaryPreferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeTravel Requirements
5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s) / office location.Physical / Work Environment Requirements
