Overview of Responsibilities :

The trader will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of a physical natural gas trading book. The trader will report to the Vice President of Trading and will play a critical role in the success of CarbonBetter. This trader will either be located in their market area, or Austin, TX.

Specific Responsibilities

Identify new opportunities as markets evolve
Drive consistent P&L results
Build and cultivate relationships in the physical natural gas markets
Enter deals timely in CarbonBetter's ETRM
Communicate clearly to facilitate scheduling, mid and back office functions

Qualifications

Expert level knowledge of pipelines and the flow of gas

5 years + experience in the U.S. physical natural gas markets, with 2+ years of trading experience

Firm understanding of risk concepts

Advanced problem solving and communication skills

Demonstrable track record of success
