Salary : $65,000 - $100,000+ per year + Year-End Bonus Industry : Civil Construction / Utilities / Sitework (Residential, Commercial) Location : Forest Hill, MD Job Overview Goode Paving & Sealcoating Inc. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Estimator / Project Manager to oversee both the estimating and management of residential and commercial paving projects. This role blends project management expertise with a strong background in outside sales to ensure high-quality results, satisfied clients, and profitable growth. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop proposals, manage project execution, and maintain strong client relationships - all while contributing to the success of our small but rapidly growing company. Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bids, and proposals for asphalt paving and sitework projects.- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources from contract award through completion.- Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout each project.- Conduct site visits for project evaluation, measurement, and progress monitoring.- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.- Oversee field operations to ensure work meets quality, safety, and schedule requirements.- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.- Handle change orders, project documentation, and final project closeouts.- Support company growth by taking on additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, with proven outside sales success.- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, civil construction, or sitework projects.- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to maintain positive client and team relationships.- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Team player with a willingness to adapt and grow within a small business environment.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
