Title : Accounts Payable II

Reports to : Controller

Classification : Hourly / Non-Exempt

The Accounts Payable II will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling prepaid invoices, and managing vendor records in the Elite ERP system. They will also assist with check runs, credit card bill coding, and manual check coding. In addition, the Accounts Payable II will provide support to the Controller, maintain filing organization, and assist with special projects as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Process invoices accurately by coding them to the correct G / L accounts, entering them into the Elite ERP system, and scheduling timely payments.
  • Manage inventory receivers and variances, and reconcile prepaid invoices.
  • Conduct bi-weekly check runs, code and collect receipts for the corporate credit card bill, and enter manual checks.
  • Communicate with vendors and Ace Mart associates to resolve billing issues, maintain vendor records, and ensure that W-9 forms are current.
  • Assist the Controller with filing annual 1099 forms, keep the AP filing organized, and support other accounting staff with special projects.

  • Excellent customer service skills, dependability and a team player mindset
  • Pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen
  • Accounting Degree or equivalent of 6 years accounts payable experience
