Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will oversee recruitment and search processes for classified and officer of administration positions and promote best practices in interactions that reflect the values of University Housing and are aligned with the institutional commitment to maintaining an environment of inclusive excellence for all members of our community.
This position supports these efforts by providing comprehensive tools and resources as well as consultation, guidance, and support to hiring managers, search chairs, and committees during the full recruitment, selection, and hiring process.
The HR Generalist will manage University Housing’s new employee orientation process, which includes an introduction to university and departmental policies and procedures and ensures new employees are connected to university technology and software platforms.
In addition, the position assists with employee relations issues, including investigations, research, and compiling payroll data and other information. These duties are carried out in a confidential capacity with the ability to handle confidential material appropriately while maintaining an institutional perspective.

Minimum Requirements
3 years of experience as a human resources professional, with at least one year working full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
