Responsibilities : Provide daily assistance and support to health-impaired older adults or individuals with brain injuries, intellectual / developmental disabilities, emotional or behavioral challenges, or mental health diagnoses. Assist with the planning and implementation of individual and group activities. Support the care, safety, and social / recreational engagement of individuals. Aid with daily living needs, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, bathroom assistance, meal preparation, and medication administration. Foster social skills, self-advocacy, and independence strategies. Provide transportation for medical appointments, errands, shopping, or community activities. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 years of age or older. At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (experience with older adults preferred). Physical exam within the past 12 months and current annual TB test. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, current registration, and insurance. Proficiency in taking vital signs, monitoring weights, and supporting Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Current CPR and First Aid certification.
