PT Staff Psychologist

Job Summary

This is a part-time year-round Counseling Center Staff position. This position will provide culturally informed direct client care to students at Elkins Park Drexel University. This person will also engage in consultation services; may provide supervision to trainees provide crisis care and outreach to the student body. Position may provide virtual therapy services. Participate in general Student Affairs functions as a member of an Office within Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS).

Essential Functions

• Provide culturally informed individual counseling group therapy initial assessments crisis intervention and referral services to students.
• Provide brief intervention drop-in hours outreach and consultation for Student Health Center primary care patients and referral as needed.
• Demonstrate commitment and clinical expertise in working with traditionally underserved or marginalized populations and providing appropriate programming options.
• Provide consultation to faculty staff and administration regarding students.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups support groups and conduct workshops on mental health-related topics.
• May provide supervision to trainees.
• Maintain APA professional ethics in all areas. Participate in weekly clinical supervision.
• Attend Counseling Center Staff meetings; divisional meetings as needed.
• Additional tasks as assigned by Executive Director.

This position is classified as Exempt grade L. Compensation for a full-time position inthis grade ranges from$62630 -$93950 per year. Please note that the offered rate for thisposition typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade but it can vary based on thesuccessful candidates qualifications and experience department budget and an internal equity review.
