Job Summary

Join a nationally respected nonprofit as a  Senior Leader  in a newly created, high-impact role. As the  Director of Member Education & Support , you’ll set the strategic vision for educational programming, oversee a passionate and growing team, and play a key role in shaping member experience, leadership development, and long-term organizational success.

This is an opportunity to be a  key pillar of the leadership team , driving innovation in how members learn, lead, and engage—while mentoring future staff leaders and navigating a high-visibility, volunteer-driven environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (Education, Leadership, Organizational Development, or related)
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership in educational programming, member services, or staff development
  • Proven success managing and mentoring a team—especially early-career professionals
  • Experience delivering engaging in-person and virtual training, conferences, or certification programs
  • Ability to operate under public scrutiny and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Familiarity with LMS systems, online learning tools, and KPI-driven program management
  • Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in membership-based, volunteer-led organizations (e.g., fraternities, associations, nonprofits)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with boards, committees, and influential volunteers
  • Strong leadership presence and team-building mindset
  • Passion for shaping strategy and building systems that support long-term educational growth
