Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Property Accounting Manager, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, ensuring our real estate portfolio is as profitable as it is expansive. Your responsibilities will include :

1. Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for our property portfolio.

2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

3. Supervising a team of property accountants, fostering an environment of professional growth and continuous improvement.

4. Conducting regular audits and analyses to identify financial trends, potential risks, and opportunities for growth.

5. Working closely with property managers and other key stakeholders to develop and implement effective financial strategies.

6. Managing the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information to senior management.

7. Leveraging your expertise in Yardi software to optimize our financial operations and reporting.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA designation will be considered an asset.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, with a focus on real estate. Experience in a managerial role is preferred.

3. Proficiency in Yardi software is a must. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

4. Strong financial acumen, with a proven ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound decisions.

5. Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

7. A keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all aspects of your work.
