Who Youll Work With

As a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on tooling, youll collaborate with a cross-functional team of Hardware Engineering, Platform Design, Reliability Engineering, and global Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners. Youll be part of a team that values precision, innovation, and early-stage design collaboration to ensure manufacturing success at scale.

What Youll Do

In this role, youll lead the design, development, and validation of custom tooling and fixtures that support new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing. Youll own the mechanical design process from initial concept through CAD development, documentation, and production supportdriving innovation and manufacturability every step of the way.

We are looking for a mechanical design engineer with experience in tooling design Engineer who will be responsible for the conceptualization, CAD design, and engineering validation of custom tooling, fixtures, jigs, and test equipment that support high-volume electronics manufacturing. This role is centered on engineering innovation and design collaboration, not factory-floor production support. You will contribute to early-stage product design, ensuring manufacturability and quality through precise fixture and tooling design, and support NPI (New Product Introduction) into global manufacturing environments.

Compensation Information :

The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $100,000 to $175,000. Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location. The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles are eligible to participate in Aristas Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales. US-based employees are also entitled to benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
