About Mountain Creek :

Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing / snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants, and lodge.

How the Snowmaker works with the Team :

Primarily responsible for turning on and off all on hill snowmaking equipment and monitoring for quality and coverage throughout shifts. Daily pre-and post-operational set up and protocol for snowmaking infrastructure.

Team Member Responsibilities :

• Provide a Premium product efficiently for all Mt. guests
• Identifying hose and gun problems
• Set up and break down trails for snowmaking needs
• Creates a fun, team-oriented atmosphere while adhering to guest and employee safety guidelines
• Safely operate snowmobiles, ATV's, and trucks, following designated trails, and adhering to all company policies regarding vehicle operation
• Understanding snowmaking infrastructure and direction of flows and water recapturing
• Using radios for communication and following company protocol and radio etiquette
• Turning guns on and off, flushing and blowing out guns and hoses
• Operate all primary and satellite valving in pump houses to transfer air / water
• Service, repair, and maintain all snowmaking guns, equipment, and infrastructure
• Works cooperatively with peers, departments, interdepartmental contacts and vendors
• Follow all proper documentation protocol
• Following all necessary safety protocol and utilizing all required PPE
• Operation and startup of pumps and compressors
• Basic use of hand tools and small power equipment
• Other Resort / department duties as assigned
