Nephrology Nurse Practitioner

Banner University Medical Group is seeking a Nephrology Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our highly trained team of Nephrologists and kidney care staff. Our Advanced Practice Providers provide medical management to patients throughout their general nephrology phase of care. This role is focused on outpatient care within our Tucson hospital and clinics. Come join our team-focused, highly supportive, and innovative workplace!

Practice Details :

• 100 % Clinical
• Average 16 patients per day
• Strong camaraderie with colleagues, pharmacists, nurses, dieticians, and social workers
• Educational opportunities : didactic nephrology lectures 3 times a week (one hour each), teaching materials, and faculty training

Location :

Outpatient, Inpatient non-teaching / and overflow, Outpatient dialysis unit rounding

Banner University Medical Center - South Campus

Work Schedule :

Mon-Fri 8-5

Some weekend call coverage expected

Qualifications :

APP experience in Nephrology preferred

Board Certification required

Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances

Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS

Highly qualified new graduates with related / specialty experience will be considered
