Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Child Life Program.

Provide creative arts therapy for individuals and groups of children, both inpatient and outpatient.

Develop and implement a creative arts therapy program, evaluating it regularly.

Provide therapeutic support during identified stress points such as medical distress and end of life.

Collate information with other staff for treatment planning and follow-up.

Procure creative arts supplies.

Assess patients’ psychosocial needs and develop treatment plans; complete written reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Appropriate education in creative arts therapy from an accredited program.

Master’s degree (preferred).

Licensing & Certifications

Creative Arts Therapy certification by an accredited board within 18 months of hire.
