POSITION SUMMARY

Provide administrative support for the assigned Talent & Culture department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions
  • Coordinate FMLA and employee leaves including but not limited to, distribution, maintaining and tracking all FMLA leaves and related records
  • Process qualifying event benefit changes in SAP
  • Follow up and maintain new employee benefit enrollment and dependent documentation
  • Conduct exit interviews and off-boarding
  • Complete reports for Verification of Employment and I-9’s
  • Respond and process unemployment claims
  • Coordinate employee benefit meetings, including but not limited to, annual Open Enrollment meetings, 401(k) meetings, wellness meetings and Health Fair
  • Administer employee Recognition Program and Service Awards
  • Administer attendance warnings for all hourly employees
  • Coordinate, schedule and track training participation
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of administrative experience
  • License / Certifications

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • SAP HR systems experience
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish reading, writing & speaking
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA’s)

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, with time sensitive and changing deadlines, without sacrificing accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including skills with Outlook, Word; Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
  • Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
  • Ability to build professional relationships while facilitating a collaborative environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality about all HR matters

  • The duties of this position are typically performed in an office setting.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    The duties of this position are typically performed in an office setting. The majority of duties are performed while sitting at a desk and requires spending extended hours in front of a computer screen. Communication typically occurs through face to- face interaction, as well as via email, telephone, and written correspondence. This job position also requires the ability to use other office equipment, such as a copier, scanner, fax machine, etc.
