Utah Valley University’s Department of Music invites qualified applicants to join as an adjunct instructor of voice, contributing to a dynamic program that values both artistic excellence and student-centered teaching. In this role, the instructor will provide applied voice lessons, develop and follow approved course plans, and assess student progress through performances, assignments, and evaluations. Summary of Responsibilities
The Department of Music seeks a qualified adjunct instructor of voice. The successful individual shall perform the following duties :
Possible additional teaching assignments, based on candidate’s expertise and department need may include Ensemble Coaching, Performance Class(es), Pedagogy and Literature, Diction, Vocal Literature, Introduction to Music, American Popular Music, Theory, Aural Skills, Music History, Commercial Music, Music Technology, Composition, Music Education, or other courses in the music department.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in the subject matter or a closely related area OR a combination education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.
