POSITION SUMMARY

Infusion for Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our Riverside pharmacy team. The Pharmacist is responsible for performing all aspects of pharmaceutical care for patients and customers. They will maintain pharmacy compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and accreditation standards as appropriate. Additionally, they will support all customer service efforts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains the confidentiality of patients / customers, staff, and their personal information at all times.
• Ensures the pharmacy’s and employee’s compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with accepted professional standards of practice and industry standards of care.
• Supervises pharmacy staff, technicians, and pharmacy interns.
• Assists with the recruiting, hiring, orienting, and training of new pharmacy staff activities.
• Assess staffing needs and levels.
• Assists with orientation, competence assessments, and performance evaluations for all pharmacy employees.
• Ensures that processes are maintained for the safe dispensing of medication, products, and supplies, including obtaining a complete medication profile.
• Participates in the creation, development, and revision of policies and procedures and other organizational guidelines.
• Controls costs and inventory.
• Performs all pharmacist functions, job duties, and responsibilities as well.
• Participates in performance improvement efforts and teams to ensure improvement in systems and processes is ongoing.
