The Hematology / Oncology Physician provides ongoing clinical coverage, specializing in treating solid tumors with an average of 15 patients per shift. The role requires board certification, a valid WA license, and experience with EMR systems like Epic / Beacon. This position includes overnight call responsibilities and collaboration with support staff including medical assistants and registered nurses.

  • Coverage Needed

ASAP - Ongoing

  • Schedule

    • 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm

  • Overnight call for clinic patients only
  • 4-5 days per week of coverage needed
  • Clinical Details

    • 60% Oncology / 40% Hematology

  • No procedures
  • No BMT
  • Average of 15 patients per shift
  • Majority solid tumor
  • No Leukemia possibly lymphoma
  • Requirements

    • Board Certified or Eligible

  • Fellowship Preferred
  • Active WA License or IMLC in Hand
  • ABLS, ACLS, BLS
  • Epic / Beacon experience is a plus
  • Needs at least 4 days of coverage per week
  • Call

    • Assigned patients

  • 2nd call / backup
  • 30 minute response time
  • Support Staff

    • MA's and RN's

  • EMR

    • Epic / Beacon
