Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York or compact state / n

At least 1 year of recent experience in Med / Surg Telemetry nursing / n

BLS certification (American Heart Association) / n

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts / n

Strong communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills / n

/ n / nMed / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities / n

Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients in the Med / Surg Telemetry unit / n

Monitor patient vitals and telemetry, promptly recognizing and responding to changes in patient status / n

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans / n

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders / n

Educate patients and families about health conditions, discharge instructions, and ongoing care / n

Accurately document all patient care activities in the electronic medical record / n
