    • About the Role

    The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Food is Medicine (FIM) program, a key initiative that goes beyond providing meals to address the root causes of hunger and food insecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and scaling the FIM program, with a primary focus on securing strategic partnerships with healthcare payors. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in healthcare, public health, or related sectors, and a proven track record in business development and securing payor contracts. The Managing Director will work closely with healthcare leaders to establish revenue-generating partnerships and will be instrumental in operationalizing the FIM business portfolio. As the program evolves, the role will expand to include broader leadership responsibilities, such as program management, team development, and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission.

    Applicants must have at least 12 years of experience in a relevant field, with a deep understanding of healthcare systems and social determinants of health. The role demands exceptional communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills, as well as a strong commitment to the mission of the organization. The Managing Director will be at the forefront of thought leadership and industry innovation, tracking emerging trends and leading the design of pilot programs. The position is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about the potential of food-based healthcare interventions and is ready to make a significant impact in the field. The role offers the flexibility to be filled by a full-time employee or a contractor, with the potential for a long-term engagement based on performance and strategic needs.
