LHH Recruitment Solutions is proud to partner with a well-established construction company based in Carlsbad, CA, in their search for a Billing Specialist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with construction industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is looking to grow into a long-term role.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process AIA billing applications and ensure accuracy in accordance with contract terms.

Generate and submit progress billings, change orders, and final invoices.

Track and manage accounts receivable, including follow-up on outstanding payments and resolving billing discrepancies.

Prepare and submit preliminary lien notices, lien waivers, and lien releases in compliance with project and state requirements.

Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for internal and external audits.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing cycles.

Assist with month-end close processes and reporting related to billing and receivables.

Qualifications

2+ years of billing experience in the construction industry required.

Strong understanding of AIA billing, lien releases, and lien waiver processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Procore, or similar).

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Pay Details : $28.00 to $34.00 per hour
