We are seeking an Underwriting Analyst to provide technical support and analysis for our P&C reinsurance treaties. This role will work collaboratively with underwriters and the underwriting support team to facilitate efficient processing and decision making on submissions. This intermediate-level role also offers a unique opportunity to develop your technical and analytical skills while contributing to the success of operations and gaining exposure to a wide-range of disciplines within the reinsurance organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical underwriting support under general direction. Input terms and conditions into the Underwriting system and complete treaty transfers into the Accounting system.
• Collaborate with underwriters and the underwriting support team to ensure seamless processing and issue resolution. Problem-solve issues raised by Accounting, Claims, Contracts and Audit related to treaty processing.
• Serve as a division expert for a designated application, system, or workflow, including :

Testing and communicating roll-out upgrades and enhancements.

Setting up electronic workspaces and maintaining underwriting file documentation.

Qualifications

The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Princeton location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $70,000 - $105,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
