Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in HVAC sheet metal installation and fabrication. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will learn to install, fabricate, and maintain HVAC systems for commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the fabrication and installation of sheet metal components for HVAC systems, including ducts, fittings, and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate installation.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Install, seal, and insulate ductwork to meet project specifications and building codes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care and storage of tools and materials.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations on job sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and on time.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Interest in learning the HVAC trade, particularly sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and company guidelines.
