Our technology solutions help maximize the benefits of previous investments and implement newer, more efficient ones that free up agency time and resources to move Federal Government departments forward in their mission.

As a Legal Counsel, you will utilize your experience as a senior government contracts attorney to provide legal support to the Dell Federal Sales segment. This will include advice concerning all laws and regulations governing US Federal acquisitions, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and other FAR supplements, with a focus on commercial product and service procurement. This will also involve negotiation of complex sales agreements with direct US government customers and Dell Federal network of channel partners and federal systems integrators.

You will

• Identify and manage compliance issues and risk arising from US Federal government procurement and business practice including supporting timely responses to customer inquiries, reviews and audits; analysis and internal due diligence to ensure compliance with new and existing procurement regulations and requirements; and coordination with various internal stakeholders (Government Affairs, Procurement, Product Groups, etc.) on new go-to-market initiatives
• Provide proactive and effective counsel to Proposals, Contracts and Compliance teams in connection with US Federal bids / proposals, contract formation, contract performance and contract close-out
• Assist in the review and negotiation of complex sales agreements, CRADAs, OTAs, subcontracts, teaming agreements and Statements of Work; and review and analyze solicitation terms and conditions to determine exposure and develop recommendations to mitigate risk associated with onerous terms and conditions
• Manage and diffuse customer escalations, assist in resolving disputes with partners and suppliers, and assess the merits of potential bid protests
• Assist in the development and delivery of policies and procedures for Sales and other internal stakeholders on applicable regulations and developments including providing guidance on updates to government procurement rules and methodologies, procurement integrity and ethics rules and regulations
• Advise on internal processes and process improvements that intersect with Federal business
• Identify and drive new priorities for Federal legal and contracts team members

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $216,750 - $280,500.
