Responsibilities :
Execute rigorous, standards-aligned lesson plans with an end goal of ensuring scholars perform at or above grade levelAnalyze data frequently and collaboratively as a means of finetuning instruction to meet scholar needsBuild positive relationships with scholars grounded in respect,responsibility, integrity, perseverance, empowerment, and enthusiasmTeach and maintain school-wide procedures and systemsParticipate in on-going professional learning and development through one-on-one weekly check-ins and staff professional developmentCommunicate productively with scholars, families, and colleagues to ensure the best possible learning environment for scholarsTake ownership of academic results and work to continuously improve themActively participate in three-week summer professional development in preparation for the upcoming school yearQualifications :
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or universityStructured English Immersion endorsementIVP Fingerprint Clearance CardPrevious experience teaching in urban schools preferred, but not requiredSpanish proficiency preferred, but not required
