About this role

Carrier is looking for software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and other engineering majors with demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic performance to join our competitive  Carrier Engineering Leadership Program (ELP) . The ELP offers graduates an opportunity to deliver impactful contributions to strategic projects through three eight-month rotations across various Carrier business units.

Candidates selected for the program will receive front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch their capabilities and accelerate their professional development. In addition to the hands-on experience, the program includes high-caliber training, mentorship, and guidance from our diverse team of Carrier executives and program alumni to build a strong and lasting global network of colleagues.

ELP rotation locations can include Syracuse, NY; Kennesaw, GA; Indianapolis, IN; and / or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Key Responsibilities :

The program offers the opportunity to build technical and leadership skills within a professional, cross-functional environment. In addition, program participants will have exposure to :

  • Agile methodologies
  • Change management
  • Customer engagement
  • Executive presence and communications
  • Project management
  • Product development and management

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
  • Must be geographically mobile and have the ability to relocate for rotations.
  • To be eligible for the program, you must be a 2025 or 2026 graduate of the degree in the relevant field and start in the Leadership Program June 2026
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proactive and results-driven; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated technical understanding and skills in general engineering, software, systems, electrical, model-based development (MBD), chemical or mechanical engineering fields of study
