1st Shift Electrical Technicians

As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing electrical components within equipment enclosures. You will be responsible for assisting with the assembly, installation, wiring, and testing of electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect electrical wiring and equipment as per code and job specifications.
• Bend conduit, pull wire, and hang electrical components.
• Assist with installing light fixtures and switches.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of hand tools.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate good listening skills.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Adhere to safety standards and follow local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform any additional tasks that may arise.

Work Environment

You will be required to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs repetitively. The work environment includes various conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces and outdoor work, requiring adaptability to different weather elements. The standard shift is from 7 AM to 5 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime on Saturdays from 7 AM to 3 PM. During the busy season starting in August, be prepared for extended work hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sherman, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $38.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
