Starting Compensation :

75000 - 85000 USD Per Year

Working Location : Fresno, CA

Working Hours / Shift :

M-F 8am - 5pm

    What you bring to SBHG :

  • Master's degree in a social science field required, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field, and registration with the BBS as a licensed clinician.
  • BBS registration as a licensed AMFT, ACSW, or APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required
  • Valid California Driver's License required

    • How you will make a difference :

  • Interviews referred youngsters and significant others to assess and evaluate their appropriateness and need for services.
  • Works with referred children and adolescents, their families, representatives of referring agencies, and other relevant parties (in-house and external) to promote rehabilitation and amelioration of problems which interfere with productive social and emotional daily living.
  • Acts as liaison with various external agencies (such as Department of Social Services, Department of Behavioral Health, Probation Department, Dependency Court, and police) to facilitate youngsters' adjustment in daily living routines.
  • Assists in preparing youngsters for lasting and successful housing, vocational, educational, and treatment experiences. Services include a "whatever it takes" approach and include counseling, shadowing, training, modeling and other interventions deemed necessary.
  • Uses personal vehicle to drive to and from client's home to provide mental health services.
  • Transports clients and / or client family members in personal vehicle.
