System Tester

Revaya is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented System Tester to join our growing Quality Assurance team. As a System Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software systems through thorough testing and defect identification. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality products that meet user requirements and business objectives.

Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Design :

Analyze system requirements, design documents, and user stories to understand the scope of testing.

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Identify and document test data requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure testability.

Test Execution :

Execute test cases manually and / or using automated testing tools.

Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, security, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Document test results accurately and in a timely manner.

Identify, analyze, and report defects using a bug tracking system, providing clear and concise steps to reproduce the issue.

Prioritize and escalate critical issues to relevant teams.

Retest resolved defects and verify fixes.

Defect Management :

Work closely with development teams to triage and resolve defects.

Participate in defect review meetings.

Monitor the status of defects and ensure timely resolution.

Collaboration and Communication :

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, project managers) to ensure a shared understanding of testing progress and issues.

Provide regular updates on testing activities and progress to project stakeholders.

Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

Process Improvement :

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in software testing.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing documentation.
