Front End Engineer, AWS Developer Experience

This position in the AWS Developer Experience team presents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the product experience of a new service for developers. A successful candidate will bring technical and software expertise, desire to have an industry wide impact, and ability to work within a fast moving team to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.

Key job responsibilities

• Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
• Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
• Develop / maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service.
• Own and deliver key features within a new interactive developer focused experience
• Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS.
• Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the platform's front-end components
