Building Computer Technician

This position is typically assigned to a district elementary building and is responsible for providing building personnel assistance in the use of technology; providing Tier I technical support in the use of applications and software within the building; configuring and installing computing devices performing hardware repairs and software upgrades; solving printer and device connectivity issues; monitoring staff and student accounts; and troubleshooting software applications for grade levels and departments.

• Maintain and monitor client workstations
• Maintain and support building level equipment
• Maintain and monitor servers for building staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity
• Provide support to computerized testing
• Maintain Inventory
• Provide support for building technology staff and other district personnel.
