Experienced Family Law Paralegal Utah

Location : West Jordan Utah

Position Type : Full-Time

Experience Level : 3 years in family law required

Ascent Law is a respected Utah family law firm committed to helping clients through divorce custody protective orders and other domestic matters with skill and compassion. We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced client-focused environment and values professionalism teamwork and precision.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft and prepare pleadings disclosures discovery requests subpoenas and court filings in compliance with Utah Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Manage case calendars deadlines and client communication.
  • Prepare exhibits trial binders and hearing materials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients courts and opposing counsel.
  • Support attorneys in all aspects of case preparation settlement and trial.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in Utah family law (divorce custody parent-time support and protective orders).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Adobe Acrobat and Utah e-filing .
  • Exceptional organization attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision.
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus
